At the Anticipation, Cognition and Emotion (ACE) lab, we use behavioral and multi-modal neuroimaging methods (MRI, fMRI, NIRS, DTI) to understand how syndromal and sub-threshold symptoms of depression, mania, and anxiety are related to psychosocial functioning in affected individuals. Our team is especially interested in uncovering the link between people’s ability to mentally prepare for the task and performance on cognitive and emotional tasks.
Department
The ACE Lab is proud to be a part of the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Psychiatry and UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital.
Location
The ACE Lab is located in the heart of the Oakland neighborhood in Pittsburgh. We also conduct our MRI and fMRI scans located at UPMC hospitals in Oakland.
